A partnership that keeps showing up.

Some partnerships start with a single idea. The best ones keep evolving.

Home Base and RACV Hobart Hotel first began working together in 2017, when RACV helped us bring people together for what was then our Corporate Christmas Lunch. Now, as that event approaches its tenth year, the relationship has grown into something much bigger.

RACV has continued to find practical ways to support young Tasmanians—from donations through its Go Green campaign, furniture and hospitality equipment, to free rooms, discounted catering and the generosity of its team.

“But what makes this partnership special isn’t just what RACV gives. It’s how they show up.”

Their team has helped prepare Christmas hampers, wrap gifts and volunteer their time. During Mental Health Week, they cooked breakfast for members of our Eureka community, and they're continuing to share their skills through an upcoming cooking class.

It's a partnership built on being approachable, generous and willing to help wherever it's needed.

For Home Base, that's what great partnership looks like. It's not always about one big contribution. Sometimes it's a room, a meal, a coffee machine, a skill shared or a few hours spent helping out.

Together, these everyday acts of generosity create something much bigger: opportunities for young Tasmanians to feel supported, connected and part of their community.

We're incredibly grateful to RACV Hobart Hotel for continuing to show up, year after year, and find new ways to walk alongside Home Base.
