Whether you’re thinking about leaving home or already have, we’re here to listen, support, and help you find a way forward, together.
what family support can look like:
Having someone to talk to who really listens
Working through conflict in a safe, supported way
Rebuilding trust and communication at home
Support with school, relationships, and life stuff
Finding the right support for you (even beyond us)
Support that meets you where you’re at: We’ve got a range of programs depending on what’s going on for you, but we’ll figure out the right fit together.
EVERY FAMILY HAS TOUGH MOMENTS - REACHING OUT IS A STRONG FIRST STEP!
when things at home feel hard, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
HOME BASE PROGRAMS SUPPORTING families and relationships:
Step Up
Our Step Up program helps young people aged 11 to 17 who are using violence at home or in relationships.
We work one-on-one with you and your family or partner to find better ways to deal with conflict.
Reconnect
Reconnect supports young people and families to strengthen relationships with family, school and the community.
Our program is run in schools and colleges across Hobart, but if you’re not in school, we can still help. It is a free and confidential service.
Supporting Adolescent Boys
The Supporting Adolescent Boys Trail (SABT) is for young men and adolescent boys aged 12 - 18 who have had an experience of family, domestic or sexual violence.
Our program is run where the young person feels safe in southern or northern Tasmania.
Merge
Our ‘Merge’ program is designed for Grade 6 boys. It assists them in transitioning from Primary to Secondary school and moving from boyhood into adolescence.
Our program is run across 8 schools in southern Tasmania.
