We’ve got you. We’re here to support you to reconnect with learning, build confidence, and move toward the future you want.
what EDUCATION support can look like:
· Getting back into school or staying engaged
· Help with study, learning, or tutoring
· Support to explore training, work, or career options
· Someone in your corner to build confidence and motivation
· Practical help to remove barriers (transport, resources, etc.)
Support that fits where you’re at: Everyone’s situation is different, so we’ll work with you to find the right support, whether that’s one of our programs or something else that suits you better.
YOU DON’T NEED TO HAVE A PLAN. JUST A STARTING POINT!
STRUGGLING WITH SCHOOL, OR NOT SURE WHAT’S NEXT?
HOME BASE PROGRAMS SUPPORTING CONNECTION TO EDUCATION:
Parents and Kids Together (PaKT)
PaKT is all about celebrating strengths and strengthening family bonds.
It’s a fun, creative seven-week program for kids in primary school and their parents or carers.
You’ll set goals, plan, and work together to create something amazing.
Reconnect
Reconnect supports young people and families to strengthen relationships with family, school and the community.
Our program is run in schools and colleges across Hobart, but if you’re not in school, we can still help. It is a free and confidential service.
Education Support Pilot
The Education Support Pilot (ESP) is a five-year, multi-disciplinary program for unaccompanied children and young people aged 12-25 experiencing homelessness.
It provides targeted support to those at risk of disengagement or facing complex barriers to engagement with education, training, and/or work.
Flow
Flow is a voluntary program in southern Tasmania that provides support to young people aged between 12 to 18 whose use of violent behaviour has placed them at risk of ongoing contact with the youth justice system or exclusion from education.
