On 25 December every year we enjoy providing a traditional lunch, companionship, and the spirit of Christmas for Tasmanians in the south of the state.

Our Community Christmas Lunch has been an annual event bringing the community together for over 40 years.

This year, we are excited to be hosting our traditional Community Christmas Lunch once again at – In The Hanging Garden.

We will again work with Flint Kitchen to cater the event with help and donations of time, food, gifts, and funds from the community. As always, we are honoured to work with people and businesses together to deliver support, companionship and care for those who need it most.

Doors open at 11.45am - Lunch from 12pm - 1.30pm Wednesday 25 December, 2024.

  • Our Christmas Lunch is about companionship, support, collaboration and inclusion. The service we provide to our community is a joint venture between our Colony 47 Team, businesses, organisations and volunteers.
