“I saw the passion that each of these Board Members bring to Home Base.”

An aspiring journalist, Fergus joined Home Base for work experience to help film, interview and bring to life our Faces of the Board campaign.

Through this project, Fergus had the chance to sit down with our Board members and ask who inspires them, what drives their passion and how they’re working to end youth homelessness in Tasmania.

As he undertook the interviews, he discovered a team of people who are driven by a shared mission to create a future where every young person has a place to belong.

Working with the Home Base team to organise, set up shots and interview the Board was an invaluable experience for Fergus, he learned that passion really matters and that when you care about what you do, you can make a real difference.
