Our first collaboration was to bring a limited-edition hoodie to life by working with 18 year old Katie, a UTAS student who volunteers with Create Crew helping young people to express themselves through street art.
Katie says the design she created focusses on lines that represent how our new brand will connect people. The lines are wavy to show how hard it can be to find support as a young person as they fight against the waves or noise that is constantly in people’s heads. The breaks in the circle show how Home Base offers a break from this stress. The circle shape itself is about continuity and moving on, which is how Home Base will support.
Every purchase of our limited-edition hoodie directly supports Home Base in our mission to end youth homelessness. Funds raised support vital programs that provide shelter, resources, and a fresh start to young people in need.
