housing and accommodation support initiative

(hasi)

We want to prevent homelessness and ensure everyone has a home base.

The Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative (HASI) program helps people aged 18-64 with mental health challenges stay in stable housing.

What we offer

We give around 4-5 hours of non-clinical support each week, like connecting you with local services, doctors, mental health professionals, and more.

We’re here to help you:

  • Keep your tenancy

  • Build self-reliance

  • Stay connected to important services in your community

Who can join?

To be part of HASI, you must:

  • Be between 18-64 years old

  • Live in the Greater Hobart area

  • Have an experience of mental ill-health

  • Have a social or community housing tenancy

  • Not receive NDIS funding

  • Have low to medium support needs

How to get started

If HASI sounds like a fit for you, talk to your current mental health support, your housing provider’s Client Support Coordinator or give us a call on 1800 955 700.
